Hey, i'm considering buying the collectors edition for the Grumlok and Gazbag model and basically everything except the disks, and was wondering. Can i take the code from the box and put it onto an existing account to get the special collectors edition faces and trophies?

Unfortunately there is currently no way to add a “collectors” code on an account which has already been activated with a “standard” edition code. However we are working on this function so you may be able to do so in the future. In the meantime you can do either of the following:

 Yeah US had this from day 1. Nope, we don't have this in EU. I asked for an update on this with a ticket recently, but naturally got a " we currently don't offer this " automated response. As far as I'm aware, given the lack of updates or info concerning this, it's cancelled like the "recruit a friend" system for EU.

I just keep mine as a reminder to "never be late to return presents".

Could someone from GOA explain to us why this STILL isn't available to us? Why are in-game item codes, from the US, are also not implemented on EU servers?

It's quite disgusting that they don't even offer a character transfer in substitue.

And yes, WAR-Lite is a very precise term for what we, in EU, are paying for.

The lack of answers except thread locks and swift "hush" posts regarding the absent features kinda gives you an idea on our level in WAR food chain.

I'm in a similar position - a friend of mine bought the CE for the model and asked me to paint it for him. In return he gave me the rest of the stuff, so I too have a CE code unused that I can't apply.

Seems to me GOA (the company, not the staff necessarily) have lost all interest in WAR, something further shown by the fact the banner ad for the live event is still on the home page two days after the event ended. If they can't be bothered to keep the website up to date, what chance of us getting all the features that the US has that we don't?

Kind of ironic that the only stuff GOA keep up to date on the WAR site are ads for their other games, shows where their priorities lie IMO.

(PS - I hate to make bitter sounding posts like this, but I find myself more and more disillusioned daily with the "service" we get. I often wonder if it would be better if GOA just bit the bullet and handed WAR in Europe over to EA to run, at least then we might get some synergy as they own Mythic)

  I just gave up on any improvements on the site. Geocities is what we deserve it seems.

Appaerantly it is cheaper for Mythic/EA to hire GOA to manage the EU side, than to do it themselves. One thing GOA proved over and over again. Again, speaks volumes on their competency levels.
